Paint protection film is not selected only by price. In many workshops, thickness is one of the first things installers check. A 6.5 mil film can be used for standard panels, while 7.5 mil and 8.5 mil options give a little more coverage for front areas. The 9.5 mil option is often discussed for parts that face more contact from road sand, small stones and washing marks. Jiangyuan Technology lists all four thickness choices in its regular product notes.
The regular roll size is 1.52 m by 15 m, so one roll is close to a full-car job in many cutting plans. The film is TPU based, and regular stock uses domestic Wanhua TPU material. Buyers can start with one roll, while custom material brand or special packaging usually begins from 500 rolls.
